Welcome to the Pottsville High School Media Center. I have been a teacher and Media Specialist for Pottsville since 1972. I am a graduate of Pottsville High School, recieved a BA degree in English, certification in French and Library Media K-12 from Arkansas Tech and a MSE in Instructional Technology from Arkansas Tech.

Construction of the new, much larger, state of the art media center has been completed and we are enjoying our beautiful new facility. The faculty, staff, and students thank the community and the school board for their support and dedication to making the Pottsville School District the best in the state.

I am also the contact person for Pinnacle, Accelerated Reader, and School Messenger for the high school and the school calendar on the web page. If you would like something added to the calendar, email your announcement to me.

Pinnacle is the gradebook program used by the teachers and the Pinnacle Internet Viewer is the web program that allows parents to monitor their child's progress. Pinnacle Internet Viewer letters are mailed to parents during the first few weeks of school. If you have questions about Pinnacle or a request for your student's Pinnacle information, please email me at jenifer.cioppa@pottsville.k12.ar.us .

Accelerated Reader is a program designed to help students improve their reading. Please check the calendar for Accelerated Reader deadlines. Parents can monitor their child's progress by accessing Renaissance on the school homepage and by following the instructions found by clicking on HomeConnect on the school web page.

School Messenger is the school's automated phone system. From time to time you will receive automated phone calls about important happenings at the school as well as student absences. Please call the office for further information regarding calls. The office number is 479-968-6334 .
